Renew or Join Friends of East Gippsand Rail Trail on this secure link
2017/18 annual membership now due.
We need your support by renewing your membership of the Friends for the coming year. All money collected is used to maintain or upgrade facilities on the rail trail. There are three levels of membership:
- Basic $10 per annum.
- Family $15 per annum.
- Business $100 per annum.
All businesses are entitled to a listing on this website.
We produce regular Trail Mail newsletters which can be accessed for free from our website and from links from our mailing list. If you are not on the mailing list go to the website and subscribe. If you require a hardcopy of the newsletters please add an additional $8 to the membership fee to cover postage and printing costs.
Payment Options:
- On line payments through our website utilise the Paypal secure payment system. We recommend using this facility. You can pay by a Paypal account or by a credit card.
- Cheques can be mailed to Friends of East Gippsland PO Box 3 Orbost Vic 3888.

The final touches are being made to the refurbished OLD COACH TRAIL which links the Rail Trail at Burn Rd Newmerella with Grandview Road and Grandview Lookout. Our official opening will be on Saturday 3rd June at 2pm. Snowy West Landcare invites everyone to attend.

Art work on the shelter at the Bairnsdale entrance to the Rail Trail. The project is being carried out under the auspices. of Federation Training and managed by Malicious Art based in Bairnsdale.
Orbost Railway Viaduct is 100 years old and falling apart. Friends of East Gippsland Rail Trail want to restore this bridge. Your support is important. Help by joining Join Friends Group or making a donation Donate in $5 multiples.
